What the job involves

Mentor engineers on the team, helping them advance in their careers
Empower your team to achieve a high level of productivity, reliability and predictability
Contribute to Vericred's engineering culture, process and best practices
Drive the roadmap and priorities for your team, and work with dependencies across the company
Design, build, and maintain APIs, user-facing experiences, services, and systems
Own the planning and delivery of new partner integrations
This role reports to the VP of Engineering

Our take

Ideon, which rebranded from Vericred in 2022, offers an API platform to allow for better data exchange between insurers, employee benefits providers, and HR platforms. In effect, Ideon builds infrastructure to power better customer experiences in purchasing, enrollment, and management of benefits.

Ideon’s trajectory since its 2015 launch has been in keeping with the expansion of the Insurtech industry as a whole, which is growing by over 40% annually. By positioning itself as the connecting point between insurers, brokers, HR teams, and employees, Ideon has been able to attract plenty of well known users.

Since receiving major funding ahead of its rebrand, Ideon has been focusing heavily on expanding its employee headcount, as well as its executive team, in a bid to meet the growing demand for its APIs.
