Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in information systems or related areas, or demonstration of equivalent knowledge such as technical certifications from ISACA, (ISC)², AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Google Cloud Security Engineer, etc
- Minimum of 2 years previous Solutions Engineering or Implementation experience
- Proven track record in enabling new and existing partners/ distributors
- Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively
- Effective communication skills both verbally and written
- Domain expertise - Privileged Access Management, Identity Governance and Administration, Application GRC, and/or, Cloud Security preferred
- Experience in the Identity Governance and Administration domain with a firm grasp of its concepts such as Identity Life Cycle Management, Entitlements Management, Access Request, Workflow, Policy and Role Management, Access Certification, Audit, Reporting/Analytics, and Deployment Scenarios is preferable
- Superior communication, relationship, and partner/customer service skills that result in the ability to rapidly assess needs and sell solutions with/through sophisticated Partners
- Ownership and management of technical team relationships within existing and prospective partners
- Exemplary technical skills enabling configuration and rapid problem-solving in the field including:
- Database query experience in a relational database environment (MySQL and Elastic Search)
- Basic understanding of Groovy, PowerShell, and Graph API
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols and standards including SAML, OAuth/2, SCIM, OpenID, WS-Trust, SPNEGO, x.509, SPML, Kerberos, REST, JSON, and others that facilitate Single Sign-On (SSO), ID federation, etc
- Understanding of data governance concepts and compliance regulations such as GDPR & CCPA
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and security frameworks such as SOX, NERC-CIP, HIPAA, Cobit, Center for Internet Security (CIS), Cloud Security Alliance, NIST, PCI, etc
- Experience with AzureAD, Okta UD, JumpCloud, OneLogin, PingDirectory, Active Directory, eDirectory, Oracle Internet Directory, Radiant Logic, and other Cloud/LDAP/Virtual directories
- Basic understanding of networking technologies such as HTTP, TCP/IP, firewalls, and encryption
What the job involves
- This individual will be responsible for enabling partners on saviynt products, working on development of joint solution offerings, conducting workshops to create sales plays and technical solutions
- This individual will also be responsible for providing best practices and addressing feasibility related questions on integration architecture
- In addition, this individual will be a contributor to partner-led Product Marketing, webinars, and blogs
- The Partner Solutions Engineer will work proactively with the product management teams to understand the roadmap and influence the roadmap based on partner requirements
- Acquire Saviynt product knowledge through training, applying methodology, and procedures relevant to the Partner-facing role
- Develop and deliver technical presentations to demonstrate enterprise solutions, ease-of configuration, simplicity of architecture and intelligence of workflows providing the opportunity for partner interaction and demonstrating excellent presentation skills
- Effectively communicate solution value to the business and technical audiences that is clear and satisfies prospective Partner/customer requirements and/or inquiries
- Develop technical solutions with Partners to accelerate sales of saviynt products and services
- Effectively communicate with business development and partner directors, working proactively and independently to prioritize and manage top regional opportunities,
- Regularly provide solution feedback and competitive intel from the field to Saviynt product management, solutions strategy, and marketing teams
- Ability to travel as and when required within your territory

Sayvint’s Identity Governance and Administration platform helps secure access to corporate systems in the cloud such as Workday, Office 365, AWS, Salesforce, SAP and Hadoop. It was created to offer an innovative, modern solution as its founder believed that existing identity services were not optimized.

Sayvint faces a major rival in the form of SailPoint, which was an earlier entrant in the space, and went public sooner. However, Sayvint is growing rapidly and has converted some notable customers from SailPoint in the process. The company has continually invested in its platform to maintain a competitive edge, earning industry recognition along the way, and has recently concentrated on securing new customers and growing its partner ecosystem.
