Senior Software Engineer, Taskrabbit

• We seek a strong technical leader with experience building a robust and scalable platform to support current and future partners at scale
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, partner engineering, or similar roles
• Experience building developer platforms, helping define the strategy, and being collaborative with cross-functional teams
• Experience designing and building API endpoints
• Strong design and architecture skills
• Experience with software engineering best practices (e.g., unit testing, code reviews, technical design documentation)
• Proficiency with Ruby/Rails
• Experience with MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, and similar technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to work with a layered application architecture
• Enjoy owning and scoping high-visibility projects to keep us moving forward
• Great attention to detail and quality
• Love collaborating with a tight-knit team and across the organization

• At a point of major inflection and scale, Taskrabbit is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design and implement our Partner API platform that enables Taskrabbit to integrate with other businesses so they can offer Taskrabbit services to their customers
• This Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for collaborating with peers in Engineering, Architecture, Data, Product, and other business leaders to build a partnerships platform to support and sustain hyper-growth for Taskrabbit
