Who you are
- This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at multitasking
- 8+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar role, ideally supporting multiple executives
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with colleagues at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and calendar management tools. Experience with travel booking and expense management software is a plus
- Previous experience organizing events and managing logistics for large groups
- Basic understanding of office management practices, with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude who can work effectively with diverse teams across the company
What the job involves
- We are looking for a dynamic and highly organized Executive Assistant to support three senior leaders within our company
- You will play a crucial role in enabling the efficiency and effectiveness of the leaders you support, managing travel and calendar logistics, and partnering with the ops team in organizing both team and company-wide events
- Your role will also include responsibilities in office management, fostering a productive and positive work environment
- Provide comprehensive support to three senior leaders, managing their calendars, travel, and communications
- Organize team and cross-functional events, partnering with R&D, Sales, Marketing, and DevRel teams to ensure smooth coordination
- Collaborate with the Operations team on company-wide events (e.g., holiday parties, happy hours, SKOs) and handle office management to maintain a productive and organized workspace
- Act as a liaison across departments for company-wide initiatives, supporting ad-hoc projects and fostering a collaborative work environment

StarTree is a startup founded by the creators of Apache Pinot, which delivers scaled analytics at low latency for up to millions of users - and has proven successful with market giants like Weibo, Walmart, and LinkedIn. StarTree is the platform-as-service version of Apache Pinot for enterprise, which is used by Cisco, Etsy and Target.
The company's pedigree is strong, with founders previously holding engineering positions at Uber and LinkedIn. They saw firsthand the benefits of providing real-time insights to users of Linkedin and UberEats, knowing it would sit well with the wider population.
Certainly, with more companies grappling with larger data pools at speed, the demand for low-latency analytics engines appears to only be growing. StarTree hopes to position Apache Pinot as the go-to engine for this and is focusing on marketing and sales to fend off rivals such as ClickHouse. It is expanding internationally as well to drive uptake, opening an office in India to grow into Asian markets..
