Role
Who you are
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote team environment is essential
- Has experience with React Native (if not, strong knowledge of core React and CSS is sufficient)
- Prefers simple, pragmatic architectures and approaches in projects
- Has experience with databases, SQL, and other server-side technologies for troubleshooting
- At least 5 years of experience in front-end development, with a proven track record of building SPAs and/or mobile apps
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript
- Understanding of core CS concepts: data structures, cohesion/coupling tradeoffs, asynchronous vs concurrent code, event-driven vs imperative styles, etc
- Familiarity with SOLID principles and experience in their practical application
- Good knowledge of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS) and popular libraries (e.g., react-query, SWR, CSS modules)
- Experience building UI controls without relying on third-party libraries
- In-depth understanding of React core concepts and lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of frontend and backend communication protocols (and ideally the networking stack in general)
- Intermediate/B1 English across all four skills
Desirable
- Experience using OpenAPI for generating client-side code
- Experience integrating payment gateways such as Stripe
- Knowledge of lower-level languages and build systems for troubleshooting React Native integrations
