Role
Who you are
- Must have a deep understanding of various QA methodologies, processes, and tools. Proficiency in automated testing tools such as JMeter, Selenium, or similar is essential. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Should possess excellent analytical skills to identify issues and provide efficient solutions. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and analyse system specifications to create comprehensive test plans
- Must have hands-on experience working in Agile environments and be familiar with DevOps practices. Ability to collaborate closely with development, operations, and other QA teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Desirable
- Proficient in one or more programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. Familiarity with version control systems is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed. Should be able to effectively communicate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team.
What the job involves
- As a QA Manager, you'll work within the development team to ensure that our software products meet the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies and test plans
- Leading the QA efforts in an agile framework using Jira to track progress and issues
- Collaborating closely with developers to identify, debug, and resolve issues early in the development process
- Establishing automated testing pipelines and integrating them into CI/CD workflows
- Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies to maximise efficiency and effectiveness
Application process
- 30-minute introductory call with our head of engineering and one of our co-founders
- Take-home technical assessment followed by a one-hour interview
- Final 30-minute interview with senior leadership
