Role
Who you are
- 2-3 years sales experience in the software industry preferred
- A track record of success in selling SaaS subscriptions leveraging a sales methodology that has led you to excel in growing and managing current/net new customers and new use cases
- Ability and have demonstrated consistent success in forecasting weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence
- Passion for building new customer relationships and working cross-functionally within a diverse team to deliver outstanding results
- Technologically adept and business acumen focused with outstanding communication both written and oral, negotiation and presentation skills
- This role will preferably be based out of Austin, Texas covering accounts across the United States

What the job involves
- Elastic is searching for a General Business Territory Account Executive focusing on Emerging/Growth Accounts across the United States
- Our Territory Account Executives are individual contributors, focused on building new business and growing the Elastic footprint within a defined set of accounts based on a spend profile
- These accounts have tremendous potential and will need an individual focused on ensuring our customers are successfully leveraging Elastic cloud solutions across their organization
- Are you ready to leverage your creativity and innovation to help build and grow this exciting set of accounts?
- Building awareness and driving demand for Elastic solutions within this set of accounts, by developing and executing a territory strategy/partner plan to understand and grow these accounts
- Serving as an evangelist of our technology leading with our new innovative offering such as GenAI, Vector Search, Security, and Observability
- Identify and qualify new opportunities within existing accounts by leveraging your own creativity, inbound lead flow, personal prospecting efforts, contacts, and partners
- Work cross-functionally with our sales development, marketing, partner, product and customer service teams to deliver outstanding results
- Working thoughtfully with customers to identify new business opportunities, managing through the sales cycle and closing complex transactions
- Building a robust business plan by utilizing tools like Salesforce, Clari, Outreach and ZoomInfo
