Role
Who you are
- This is a pivotal role and the ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of contract management, the ability to juggle multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic work environment
- A paralegal degree or certificate, or advanced degree in law
- Good working knowledge of common commercial agreements, clauses and contracting practices
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Excellent writing and proofreading abilities
- Must be detail oriented and proactive
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team atmosphere
- Prior in-house legal department experience preferred, but not required
What the job involves
- As a Paralegal, you will provide comprehensive legal support driving our legal operation and corporate governance initiatives
- You will work closely with our General Counsel
- Provide contract support for client agreements, vendor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other commercial agreements
- Manage the contracts lifecycle process for all agreements
- Create and maintain an existing contracts document library
- Create and maintain a program to document and share contract obligations with internal stakeholders
- Assist in the development and management of internal policies and procedures and other compliance requirements
- Assist with data privacy projects and related compliance requirements, ranging from updating the company’s privacy policy and notices and assisting with managing the company’s data subject requests response process
- Assist HR in maintaining state accounts and compliance with state employment and other legal requirements
- Work with the General Counsel on special projects and initiatives
