Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have a detailed eye for data validity and efficient planning
- You have 1-2 years of experience in technical implementations, data analysis, or software engineering
- You have worked with data integration and ETL processes
- You have experience working with SQL and data mapping tools
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You are familiar with healthcare industry standards and technologies (preferred, but not required)

What the job involves
- We are hiring an Implementation Engineer on the Counterpart Assistant team
- You will be a critical team member in implementing new customers onto the Counterpart Assistant platform
- In this role, you will work across the organization to assist in successfully onboarding new customers
- Partnering with customer success, product management, engineering, SRE, data science, and more, you will implement critical data mappings and refine processes for existing and future customer onboarding
- Implement and validate data mappings, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data integration processes
- Assist in refining and documenting onboarding processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Troubleshoot and resolve implementation-related issues, providing technical support to internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance the customer onboarding experience
- Maintaining and improving existing customer integrations
- Coordinating across business units to deliver solutions and resolve issues
- Designing and implementing new processes to improve our customer and engineer experience
- Leading customer integrations from planning to implementation for engineering

Clover Health is a medical insurance company operating as a Preferred Provider Orgaization for Medicare Advantage, the Medicare plan for elderly American citizens. It aims to reduce the doctor-insurer friction to increase visibility into the health of patients.
Through its approach, Clover's physicians are able to focus on people, rather than paperwork. It has a patient-centered analytics and dedicated care management team, and thus is able to rapidly identify potential healthcare risks to provide preventative care. This helps to provide a more sophisticated level of care than existing providers, even if its market share is relatively slim compared to competitors like UnitedHealthcare and Humana.
Over the years it has performed well in a rapidly growing market, but in 2021 ran into issues with profitability in the market due to inefficient costings, an issue it is steadily nipping in the bud in 2023. However, the number of elderly Americans has doubled over the past 25 years, and the market is expected to do the same between now and 2025. This upward trend brings hope of revitalising the growth and strong financial performance Clover has seen in recent years, especially as it focuses more on profitability through 2023.
