Who you are
- Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Management, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- Experience Requirements: Five (5) years of experience as a Sr. Business Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation
- Must have experience with the following: SQL, and Python; synthesizing large data sets for strategic business decisions; evaluating data anomalies and complex patterns; communicate data and be concise with insight about how the data drives outcomes for leadership and stakeholders; data management and analysis tools: Databricks, Snowflake, Domo, and Tableau (Teradata and Cognos; Splunk, Kibana, DataDog, or New Relic); A/B/n testing; statistical modelling and machine learning techniques; and ETL and streaming data orchestration experience (PySpark)
What the job involves
- Conduct data analysis to identify and reconcile data discrepancies among different platforms. Integrate disparate "source of truth" elements into a unified, authoritative global data platform
- Collaborate with and provide additional Product leadership for the business intelligence (BI) Team to ensure optimized data architectures and valuable data products
- Assist with data validations during data migration projects such as moving to newer versions of Google Analytics, changing data lake vendors, or updating source systems’ transactional databases. Perform ad-hoc data analysis to evaluate emerging trends, opportunities, and hypotheses
- Identify valuable views and data products for BI users, analytics teams, marketers, strategy teams, and other analysts. Use and analyze data from multiple large-scale data warehouses and present statistically strong analysis to a wide range of business stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvements to our products, tools, and processes by sharing learnings, constructive feedback, and input with internal technical and analytics teams. Design data models to best support analytics needs of the business, consistent with data strategy principles
- Partner with Architecture and Governance teams to maintain accurate documentation. Automate manual analysis processes and present back on time and resource gains. Independently learn new technologies to best identify valuable data products for the business as well as resolve data accuracy and report production issues

Live Nation is the world's leading live entertainment company, sitting at the top of the market in live events and ticketing. Formed in 2005, it is a major international company, with key business segments made up of concerts, ticketing, and sponsorship and advertising.
Despite its dominant position in the market, the company saw an 84% drop in revenue during 2020 and the closure of live events. Since then, however, demand has been stronger than ever for their ticket sales. This is a reflection that live events remain a clear priority for consumers and has been further reflected in Live Nation's acquisitions of companies - like Goodlive - that complement and bolster Live Nation's portfolio.
In addition to live events, a key area to watch for Live Nation will be the rise of online concert streaming, like that undertaken by competitors such as Driift. Major festivals such as Glastonbury have trialled online concerts with mixed reviews. If it proves successful, this could be a major new section of the entertainment market and a big potential part of Live Nation's future ventures.
