Who you are
- Experience running an operating plan using OKRs in a high-growth or complex environment
- Strong track record of driving execution across multiple teams and functions
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Comfort working in fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials for senior audiences
- Ability to influence without formal authority and hold teams accountable
Desirable
- Background in finance, strategy, consulting, or operations
- Experience building or managing dashboards, KPIs, and forecasting models
- Exposure to defense, aerospace, hardware, or dual-use technology environments
- Experience working closely with executives, founders, or boards

What the job involves
- CHAOS Industries is looking for a Chief of Staff to the President to help bring structure, momentum, and clarity to how we operate and execute. This role partners closely with the President to keep priorities moving, ensure teams are aligned, and turn strategy into real, measurable progress

- Executive Partnership
- Work closely with the President to help prioritize time, decisions, and focus areas
- Prepare materials for board meetings, executive reviews, and investor updates
- Ensure follow-through on key initiatives and decisions coming out of leadership discussions
- Operating Plan and OKRs
- Own the company-wide operating rhythm, including annual planning, quarterly OKR setting, and regular business reviews
- Lead the design, rollout, and tracking of OKRs across all departments including Engineering, Operations, Finance, and GTM
- Keep teams aligned to company priorities and ensure progress is measurable
- Identify gaps in execution and help drive solutions
- Cross-Functional Execution
- Lead high-priority initiatives that span multiple teams such as product launches, facility buildouts, or new business efforts
- Break down complex problems into clear, actionable plans and see them through
- Act as a connector across teams to keep work moving and reduce friction
- Business Performance and Analytics
- Build and maintain dashboards that track key performance indicators and OKRs
- Partner with Finance and Operations to monitor performance against plan
- Support forecasting, scenario planning, and decision-making with clear data and insights
- Organizational Discipline
- Establish consistent meeting rhythms, reporting structures, and accountability practices
- Improve internal communication and visibility across teams
- Help evolve operational processes as the company continues to grow

Its products to date include the CHAOS Coherent Distributed Network, a time synchronicity platform, and HYDRA that facilitates land, sea and air-based detection and communications. Easy to integrate into existing defence systems, HYDRA can be deployed into challenging warfare environments - providing unique solutions for US defence industries.
In the face of a highly complex threat landscape, it’s unsurprising that CHAOS has received considerable funding. This will support the company’s commercial growth and product development. It also hired a former congressman and ex-CIA veteran as its Chief Strategy Officer, exemplifying its alignment with key defence sectors in the US.
