Who you are
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Technology Management or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
- 3 years of experience must include:
- Project Management methodologies to create and lead project plans for Software feature development
- Requirements development to create and gather feature requirements for software development
- Presenting weekly status report to executives/senior leadership team during feature development, reporting on progress of large cross-functional efforts, tracking Software Performance metrics and driving teams to get software ready for customer ship
- Team management: responsible for leading feature development efforts and planning and tracking development work that spans across various cross-functional teams
- Analyzing release health data: Dashboards and Bug Triage required to organize and distill bug to drive resolution
- Schedule and timeline management: for large projects, tracking this throughout the release cycle, managing schedule changes and communicating risks, concerns and mitigation plans
- Release management for large program release schedule
What the job involves

- Analyze and coordinate schedule, timeline, resourcing/staffing, and drive executive communication for products & software features
- Plan and coordinate work of technical staff
- Drive performance & battery life initiatives for various software and hardware focused features
- Engage with engineering teams to evangelize best practices and pursue improvements
- Proactive engagement with feature development teams with the goal of delivering best in class performance & power across our operating systems
- Collating and presenting key metrics at exec reviews to help drive critical decisions for our operating systems
- Drive conversations with teams to prioritize power & performance asks and drive resolution for operating systems regressions
- Assisting the team with ongoing improvements to the program management processes
- Overseeing end-to-end initiatives that require the coordination of multiple technical domains across cross-functional teams. 40 hours/week
