Who you are
- A strong passion for cyber-security and for creating high-impact marketing materials and campaigns. You will be well-versed in persona-based B2B marketing strategies
- As a member of the team, you will have demonstrable experience in cybersecurity product marketing and/or exposure to security information and event management, extended detection and response, incident management, threat intelligence, or cloud security solutions
- You have strong written, verbal, editing, and presentation skills and portray a calm executive presence with clear communication skills
- You like working in a highly collaborative environment and are comfortable in cross-functional teams with multiple perspectives and priorities
- You build durable business partnerships with stakeholders and inspire team members
- You can operate independently and feel a deep sense of ownership and accountability for your portfolio and deliverables, which will yield measurable results

What the job involves
- As the Product Marketing Manager - Cloud Security, you will help drive the product marketing and go-to-market (GTM) strategy for SentinelOne’s growing Cloud Security capabilities and our platform.
- You will drive business growth and innovation for our market-leading businesses
- As a PMM for our Cloud Security solutions you will be pivotal in growing a key business priority for the company and partnering across our teams to showcase how our industry-leading solutions deliver value to customers.
- You will work alongside the most innovative security minds in the industry in a diverse, fast-paced environment and lead cross-functional initiatives across marketing, engineering, campaigns, partner & sales enablement, finance, media relations, and events
- Product Marketing Strategy & Business Growth: Develop and execute our overall product marketing strategy for cloud security, help drive sustainable, accretive, and measurable business growth across the portfolio, from adoption through engagement and customer retention
- Go-to-market leadership: Develop, execute, and maintain the global GTM strategy for SentinelOne’s cloud security portfolio, including appropriate launch ownership, messaging, customer-facing content, market research, and enablement
- Cross-functional portfolio leadership: Generate clarity and momentum across our ecosystem in the context of industries and federal customer needs, influencing stakeholders to execute along a common strategy. Confidently be the voice of our customers in executive forums
- Messaging and positioning: Create compelling messaging and positioning to convey our differentiated value propositions, key capabilities, and benefits for target customer segments
- Sales & Partner Enablement: Work closely with sales, channel, and partner teams to ensure the value proposition, assets, training, and tools are deeply and consistently implemented across the organization to enable a strong sales motion
- Content creation: Develop and land compelling internal enablement and customer-facing content, thought leadership assets, webpage messaging, solution decks, white papers, blogs, competitive positioning, demos, and more
- Thought Leadership: Partner with our internal stakeholders and product leaders to cement SentinelOne’s leadership position in the security industry. Prepare and deliver our differentiated value prop through events, customer materials, briefings, and more to audiences, including customers, analysts, field, and partner teams
- Market and Competitive Intelligence: Be the expert on market trends, the competitive landscape, and target audiences, and leverage this knowledge to inform the portfolio roadmap and position our differentiated offering in the market
- Customer Advocacy: Be the voice of the customer, driving customer and market research and advocating for the customer in product development and marketing discussions
- Some travel may be required
Our take
Cybercriminals are now leveraging the power of automation to make the current threat landscape too advanced for a lot of legacy antivirus software. SentinelOne is a cybersecurity company that matches this automation, with machine learning-focused software that is built to help businesses battle online attacks.
The company expanded the scope of its business from the endpoint security market to three markets valued at a combined $30 billion, including the corporate endpoint security and IT operations management markets. This gives SentinelOne a bigger potential customer base, although also puts them in direct competition with more focused cybersecurity companies, in addition to its biggest competitor, CrowdStrike.
When the company went public, it made financial headlines as the highest-valued cybersecurity IPO ever, which gave SentinelOne a market cap of $10B, though it's now fallen to around $4B. It has subsequently launched S Ventures, a $100M fund, through which SentinelOne invests in cybersecurity startups and has expanded its partnership with major tax firm KPMG to accelerate cyber investigations and responses to threats.
