What the job involves
- The Accounts Payable Manager, who will also lead General Ledger and Accounting Operations, will be responsible for managing the global AP process, including developing and implementing process and system improvements to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Additionally, this role will oversee all system related projects that impact applications used by Accounting for financial reporting
- You will manage the global AP process which includes procurement/corporate card programmes, vendor management, expense reimbursement process, and payment runs including review of invoices for accuracy completeness, timeliness, and compliance with company policies
- Managing the end-to-end purchase ledger processes for supplies and assisting procurement with the purchase order process, you will also manage our corporate travel partner to facilitate employee travel
- You will generate regular accounts payable reports, providing insights into cash flow, outstanding payables, and vendor balances and monitor and control expenses by analysing spending patterns and identifying areas for cost reduction
- You will continuously assess and improve accounts payable processes for efficiency and accuracy
- You will ensure projects stay within deliverable commitments and within budget whilst also leveraging RPA and AI tools to enhance financial operations
