Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Strong experience in Go (Golang) and building data-intensive applications
Familiarity with scalable systems and data processing

What the job involves

We’re looking for a Founding Engineer to join our team in Berlin full-time and in person
You will work on hard and interesting challenges around our AI data pipeline product which include AI observability & explainability, bulding event-based realtime architectures and massively scaling our data processing pipelines
Join our mission of unlocking the value of unstructured data for millions of businesses
Lead the development and implementation of our data pipeline, ensuring it’s built for scalability and high performance
Write high-quality, efficient code in Go (Golang)
Collaborate with the founding team on technical decisions that drive the product forward
Address core challenges in developing AI systems, such as improving model predictability, managing and scaling unstructured data, and enhancing reliability for production use
Take on a variety of technical challenges that come with being part of an early-stage team

Our take

Founded in 2023, Cloudsquid helps businesses convert complex documents like PDFs, emails and images into usable data that can be integrated with systems like CRMs and ERPs. This enables technical teams to focus on product development rather than manual data processing.

With over 80% of enterprise data remaining unstructured, Cloudsquid addresses a major challenge. Instead of creating specific SaaS applications, the platform provides a flexible solution that focuses on addressing data challenges at the infrastructure level.

Recently, it closed a pre-seed funding round which will help expand its engineering team and advance its platform. While it's still early days for the company, it plans to roll out its General Availability release and a Freemium plan before 2025, setting the ball rolling to become a key player in the unstructured data integration space.
