Who you are
- 2–5 years of experience in object-oriented programming (C# preferred, but strong Java, C++, or Python developers welcome)
- Experience working with SQL and cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- A growth mindset, eager to give and receive feedback on designs, code, and best practices to improve yourself and our solutions
- A passion for collaboration and mentorship, helping both yourself and your teammates grow
Desirable
- Bonus experience (nice to have, but not required): Jira, APIs, React, Agile, Unit Testing, AI, Relational Databases, and CI/CD pipelines
What the job involves
- Our Software & Technology teams build scalable, reliable, and cutting-edge software to propel Spreetail to being a top ecommerce company
- We are seeking motivated individuals who are passionate about learning new technologies and building software to build a monster ecommerce company
- Gain hands-on experience in Web/API development while working with database management systems to build performant and scalable solutions
- Develop reusable components and tools that benefit not just your team, but the entire engineering organization (or maybe even the world!)
- Collaborate with engineers to define seamless interactions between servers, clients (browsers, mobile apps), and our fulfillment centers' hardware
- Drive code quality and execution excellence by writing clean, maintainable code and incorporating high levels of test automation
- Stay ahead of the curve by researching new technologies and methodologies, contributing to a dynamic, collaborative, and forward-thinking team culture
