Role
Who you are
- Experience designing mix-method research studies, analyzing results and creating reports with actionable product and design insights
- Solid understanding of UX Research methods with the ability to articulate study design to stakeholders
- Experience partnering with PM, Design, and Engineering leads and leading strategy across multiple organizations
- Comfortable presenting work to Senior Management
- Strong communication skills, with an attention to detail
- Ability to advance multiple projects with competing deadlines across the finish line
- BS/BA degree in applied behavioral science, human-computer interaction, psychology, design or similar discipline or equivalent years of experience
- 4+ years of experience conducting UX Product Research

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Senior Product Researcher to join Snap Inc!
- Identify research needs by working closely with PM, Design, Engineering, Data Science and Growth teams
- Craft comprehensive research plans, using appropriate research methods
- Own the entire research process from start to finish including, defining, recruiting, moderating, synthesizing, reporting and presenting reports
- Collaborate with the Design, Growth, Product Management, and Data Science teams to craft and carry out studies that highlight solutions for product development and emerging technologies
- Clearly articulate actionable product and design insights to stakeholders
- Be a strong advocate for the user, evangelize user-centered design practices and the importance of usability within the development groups, our company, and other cross-functional organizations

Snap Inc. is the social-media company behind Snapchat, a mobile app launched in 2011 that prioritises visual and emotive communication over traditional texting. Born from a desire to share real-time moments with authenticity, the app now boasts a massive global reach with daily active users surpassing 460M and monthly active users well beyond 900M.

Snap has yet to post a full-year profit since going public in 2017, but the company is clearly making progress. In Q1 2025 the net loss was narrowed to roughly $140M, down from $305M the year before, and revenue rose 14% to $1.36B. Advertising revenue remains periodic and macro-factors still pose headwinds, yet Snaps enduring popularity and its expanding product mix suggest that further success appears likely.
