Who you are

You’re someone who loves diving into frontend development and making things work beautifully. You’re curious, solution-oriented, and ready to find that perfect balance between “getting it done” and “getting it done well.”
BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
At least 6 years of professional experience in frontend development
A passion for learning and working with modern technologies
Hands-on experience with:
JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React
State management tools like Redux (legacy) or Jotai (new projects)
TailwindCSS, Git, and testing frameworks like Jest
Networking concepts such as REST APIs, HTTPS, and WebSockets
Package managers like npm, yarn, or pnpm
Bonus points for familiarity with Node.js, Kubernetes, Docker, or backend basics like databases and security best practices

As a Frontend Engineer at Speakap, you’ll be at the heart of creating exceptional user experiences for our platform, serving both desktop and mobile users
From building new features to enhancing existing ones, you’ll have the opportunity to work on projects that matter—like customer integrations, internal tools, and microservices
This is more than just a coding role; it’s your chance to collaborate, share ideas, and contribute to technical decisions that drive our platform forward
Together with a supportive team, you’ll tackle challenges with creativity, focus on performance and security, and keep our codebase strong and maintainable
Develop innovative and reliable frontend features for the Speakap platform
Collaborate with a talented team to solve complex problems and make architectural decisions
Enhance and optimize features to deliver a seamless user experience
Work on specialized projects, from customer integrations to internal tools
Champion best practices in testing, performance, and maintainability

Our take

Consistent communication between frontline and office workforces is essential for an enterprise to thrive, and digital tools and platforms are often used to make this happen. However, when attempting to provide tools for communication, task management, onboarding and more, software stacks quickly become convoluted, fragmented, and frustrating.

Speakap develops a digital workplace for frontline and office workers to collaborate on, particularly focussing on integrating all essential tools within the same place in the form of a social media platform. The platform provides features for many scenarios such as task management, scheduling and onboarding, but also facilitates integration with existing tools such as Salesforce, Office 365 and Workday.

Whilst the concept of creating a digital workplace to increase communication and engagement within enterprise workforces is nothing new, Speakap has taken a unique stance by focussing on accessibility. By combining the social media presentation of the platform with the all-in-one toolkit and external tool integration, the company has provided an end-to-end SaaS which ensures all scenarios can be handled within the same place, by any employee.
