Role
Who you are
- This role is ideal for someone who understands the AI/ML data lifecycle and enjoys problem-solving across business, data, and engineering domains
- 2+ years in a Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, or related role, preferably in data services, AI/ML, or software
- Strong understanding of data workflows in AI/ML, including annotation, LLM training/evaluation, or content moderation
- Familiarity with data tooling (e.g., Label Studio, Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth, or similar)
- Comfort with scripting (Python, SQL) and working with structured/unstructured datasets
- Ability to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, clear, concise, and customer-focused
- Experience with GenAI, RAG pipelines, or LLM evaluation a plus
Desirable
- Experience supporting global data operations at scale
- Background in linguistics, NLP, or computer vision projects
- Familiarity with APIs, basic cloud services, or building internal dashboards/tools
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a versatile, hands-on Solutions Architect who thrives at the intersection of strategy and technical execution
- In this role, you’ll work with internal teams and prospective clients to shape, scope, and deliver AI data solutions that are both scalable and technically sound
- You’ll support pre-sales engagements, architect end-to-end workflows, and contribute to internal tools and process innovation
- Act as the technical voice in pre-sales engagements, translating customer needs into actionable solutions
- Design and document solution architectures for data collection, annotation, evaluation, and enrichment project
- Build prototypes or light technical proofs-of-concept to support customer discussions and internal innovation
- Work with Delivery, Engineering, and Product to ensure seamless implementation and handoff of solutions
- Evaluate and recommend technical tooling (e.g. annotation platforms, automation tools, QA frameworks)
- Develop and maintain reusable solution templates, documentation, and best practices
- Participate in RFP/RFI responses by contributing technical input and solution narratives
- Stay informed on AI data trends, GenAI applications, and customer pain points to shape Welo’s offerings
