Role
Who you are
- This role requires a detail oriented leader with a deep understanding of accounting principles and the ability to drive financial excellence
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
- 10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a Management role
- Experience with payment processors (Adyen, PayPal, etc.) and the associated Cash to Order reconciliations
- Management of Cash financial reporting and the related reconciliations by working closely with the Treasury team
- Knowledge of FX and how it impacts the financial statements
- Familiarity with Lease Accounting, specifically ASC842
- Previously working with Workday Financials is a plus
- Ability to work independently and lead a team
What the job involves
- The Accounting Director will be responsible for contributing to the overall success of the Accounting team, including financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements
- Provide strategic direction and coaching to three current direct reports
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of general ledger accounts and reconciliations
- Review and approve complex journal entries and adjustments
- Help manage the internal and external audit processes (SOX)
- Oversee the maintenance of fixed asset records and related accounting
- Ownership of Company wide intercompany process and reconciliation
- Contribute to the development of the Company’s FX and translation reporting and analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial goals
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function including further developing process documentation and team training
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc requests
