Role
Who you are
- Some experience with any programming language or personal projects that demonstrate your passion for coding
- Eagerness to learn, grow and develop professionally in software engineering
- Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Basic understanding of software development principles and best practices
- An interest in financial services and a desire to build products that make a difference
- Ideally, familiarity with Java, Kotlin, or similar languages (but not essential)
What the job involves
- We’re looking for Associate Software Engineers to join our talented engineering team. We’re hiring across multiple teams, so you could be working on our new Current Account product, in our Payments team, or building the essential tools used by our Customer Service agents
- You’ll be working alongside experienced engineers who care deeply about writing quality code, building resilient systems, and creating meaningful financial products that impact thousands of people every day.
- You’ll be working in a small, agile team with plenty of opportunities to learn from and exchange knowledge with your colleagues. The team has a flat structure, so you’ll be taking an active role in design and decision making within the team as we look to meet the challenges of evolving as a bank
