Who you are
- B.S. or higher degree in related fields
- 4+ years of experience as a BI analyst (or related role)
- Proficiency in leveraging SQL to build reports
- Experience in building, maintaining, and managing reports & dashboards using data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Qlik, Sisense)
- Self-starter mentality
Desirable
- Previous experience with AI or ML is a plus
- Previous experience pulling metrics or analytics for an operations department/organization
What the job involves
- As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you’ll be the key team member of product development and operations
- You will work closely with internal stakeholders in Estimating, Customer Success, Technology, and Leadership to drive future strategy using data driven insights and intelligence
- You tell stories through data by providing internal customers a meaningful suite of queries, visualizations, and reports that help drive product and process evolution
- Help elevate the Operations and Technology teams by diving deep into data, exploring opportunities for gaining insight and extracting value from the data, and finally, contributing actively to the dashboarding and reporting needs within the company
- Act as SME for Snapsheet’s analysis data model, supporting customers and in-house users in finding the information they need for reporting
- Collaborate with development and product to provide schema modeling recommendations
- Assist in validating launch data from new product releases
- Build and maintain documentation on the products you’re building

In recent years, there has been a surge in interest in insurtech, which has certainly helped Snapsheet capture clients and support as it expands. As the sector continues to reassess procedures across the board, a further shift towards automation seems likely, driving yet more clients towards the kind of offerings that the company provides.
Certainly, Snapsheet has positioned itself well in the market, remaining a key player as the sector takes shape. It has shown promising growth and continues to expand its customer relationships, providing solutions that improve the adjuster experience. If it can keep delivering this value it should be able to remain at the front of market development.
