Who you are
- Minimum of 8-12 years experience as a Content Strategist or Content Leader
- Portfolio of work showcasing brand-aligned content across channels
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail
- Deep experience tailoring content to connect emotion to action
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Track record of success in a dynamic, rapid growth environment
- Familiarity with industry-specific content regulations and compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
Desirable
- Experience with content creation and editing in the medical or wellbeing space
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and regulatory considerations
- Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical marketing
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools
What the job involves
- As Aura’s Content Strategist, you will play a key role in shaping and executing content strategies that align with Aura’s audiences and objectives
- Through a deep understanding of our customers and business objectives you will embody the voice of the brand, collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure cohesive and authentic messaging across all channels
- Develop and implement customer-focused content strategies that align with audience personas, brand voice, and overall business / product objectives
- Build robust research processes to better understand audiences, motivations, and engagement
- Lead team in development, writing, and curation of educational content that compels audiences across various customer touch points
- Build new content function focused on healthcare and wellbeing, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure accuracy and relevance of content, and compliance with regulations, standards, and best practices
- Ensure consistency of messaging across Marketing, Product, and Design, influencing partners to comply with content strategies and industry standards
- Develop new processes for content distribution across multiple channels (product, website, social media, email, etc.)
- Regularly monitor content performance and adjust strategies based on data insights
- Optimize content for SEO to improve discoverability and ranking
Our take
Aura provides digital security solutions at both individual and enterprise level. An amalgamation of five businesses (including Intersections Inc, an identity theft solutions provider established in 1996) Aura brings together decades of experience in the security space.
Aura offers a range of plans to help businesses and consumers keep their data safe, with protection from identity theft, online financial theft and protection of technology and devices. It's a competitive space, with rivals including IDShield and IdentityForce. However Aura's combined experience in the field and the constantly increasing online security threats (for instance, catfishing - a scam where the perpetrator adopts a fictional persona to obtain personal information , financial gain or to lure someone into a relationship has doubled in frequency in the last 5 years) means there has proved to be plenty of room for the company to carve out space for itself in the market.
Aura's acquisition of the Pango Group in 2020 has proved to be profitable for the company, giving it access to more digital security verticals and helping to generate 35% year on year growth. It is continuing to scale the business, hiring more talent to make this a possibility.
