What the job involves

Clutch is in search of an Administrative Assistant to join the Deal Operations & Compliance team
In this role, you’ll be completing a large volume of digital documentation tasks for each vehicle sale
Reporting to the Deal-Ops team lead, the successful candidate for this role is a highly diligent self-starter willing to take ownership of various key administrative tasks and has previously worked in an office administrative role
Create and maintain vehicle sales files in compliance with provincial standards
Audit, compile & coordinate signing for sale documentation packages
Ordering supplies, scanning documents & maintaining general office upkeep
Address and resolve any complex issues related to documentation requirements from third party financial institutions, including edge case scenarios that may arise
Work closely with the Deal Operations, Revenue, and Finance teams to coordinate timely and accurate completion of documentations

Our take

Buying used cars is notoriously something of a minefield - but used car sales platform Clutch is making big strides to sweep away the risk. The marketplace lists certified vehicles for users to shop, and have home delivered, along with a full carfax, insurance, warranty, and optional financing.

The used car sales market has been undergoing something of a digital overhaul in recent years, with a flurry of used car marketplaces cropping up to offer similar services. Canada, however, remains relatively non-competitive compared with the U.S. and Europe. This means Clutch has the luxury of importing a tried-and-tested model into a relatively spacious market.

Clutch will, however, have to face off with close competitor Canada Drives. The two companies enjoy comparable levels of funding and are currently the top competitors in Canada’s used car market. With this market hotting up significantly, Clutch will need to tread carefully to ensure they come out on top.
