- 8+ years of experience building and leading the design and implementation of critical infrastructure systems and services in a microservices architecture
- Have a strong technical grasp, excellent judgment on task prioritizations and expertise with a focus on reliability, scalability, and correctness
- Experience working with Kubernetes, CI/CD and familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
What the job involves
- We are hiring a Staff Software Developer, with proven experience in the infrastructure domain to join the team and help bring that vision to a reality
- Create and drive the technical strategy, standards, and roadmap
- Design large scale, distributed systems within the team, making the right tradeoffs for risk and long-term maintainability
- Proactively identify and drive optimizations and improvements to the infrastructure and systems
- Mentor and coach individual contributors to become the next generation of leaders at Robinhood
