Who you are
- The ideal candidate should have developed critical thinking, flexibility to adapt across different contexts, and empathy for consumers
- Strong experience with product management in smaller teams
- Strong experience with B2C products, preferably with high sticky factor
- Strong experience working with data and metrics
- Experience with building desktop software is a plus
- 4+ years of consumer product management experience
What the job involves
- Perplexity is looking for an experienced product manager to join our small team revolutionizing the way people search and interact with the internet
- You will be trusted to change the ways people browse the internet, working with products from ideation to execution
- You will work closely with design and engineering as part of the browser desktop team, focusing on core browsing experience
- Anticipate user needs and opportunities for innovation and value
- Envision new experiences and fine-tune existing ones
- Identify levers for retention improvement
- Work closely with engineering, design, and QA to align product expectations and capabilities
- Work with data and user research to understand quantitative and qualitative data
- Work with machine learning to ensure synergy between AI and core experience
- Have conviction to make difficult product decisions
