Staff Accountant, Replit

• 1 - 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in technology or SaaS environment
• Big 4 background
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles
• Familiarity with billing systems like Stripe, Zuora, or ChargeBee
• Familiarity with Accounting ERPs (experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Campfire)
• Experience with Ramp & Hubspot is a plus

• In this role, you’ll gain broad exposure to our overall accounting functions, A/R, A/P, General Ledger and Month End Close related activities
• Working closely alongside our Accounting Manager & Sr. Accountant to produce accurate & timely financials
• You’ll have the opportunity to streamline the overall billing operations & collections workflows as we further define this function for the organization
• Generate Contracts, Subscriptions & Invoice records for our Enterprise customers to ensure proper billing & revenue recognition in our Accounting ERP
• Ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices from our customers by addressing A/R inquiries & submitting invoices via procurement platforms
• Perform various daily accounting tasks including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliations, Fixed Assets & Journal Entries
• Assist with processing bi-weekly payroll runs
• Work closely with Sr. Accountant & Accounting Manager regarding the Month End Close Process
• Partner with the greater Finance & Sales team to continue to streamline the Order to Cash process
• Assist with reporting requests from our external auditors related to producing our audited financials
• Partner with external consultants on various strategic initiatives
• Ad hoc reporting requests
