Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience in people operations or office management, ideally in a startup, with the ability to quickly adapt and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by a "figure it out" mindset; able to navigate evolving priorities with resilience and initiative
- Willingness to travel as needed, up to twice per year
- Creative and strategic mindset with a passion for cultivating a positive workplace culture
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Proficiency with office software and tools (e.g., Notion, Google Workspace) or similar with a desire to learn more
What the job involves
- As our Employee Experience Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing our workplace culture and ensuring every team member feels valued and engaged
- From organizing memorable events to managing onboarding and offboarding processes, you'll be the go-to person for all things related to employee engagement and office management
- Facilities Management: Maintain an inviting and efficient office environment by managing supplies, coordinating with vendors, and overseeing day-to-day operations
- Event Planning & Coordination: Organize company events, team-building activities, and celebrations to boost morale and strengthen team cohesion
- Onboarding & Offboarding Support: Manage the onboarding process by preparing new hire materials, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring a seamless introduction to our company culture
- Oversee offboarding to ensure a smooth transition for departing employees, handling exit logistics and knowledge transfers
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, gather feedback, and promote a positive workplace atmosphere
- Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and other administrative tasks to support the People Team and broader company objectives

Having received significant investment, the company seems set on continued growth, with funds cited to support product development as well as help launch its CX Scholars initiative, that will commit a percentage of revenue to continuing education for support workers.
