What the job involves
- As a Strategic Account Manager at Aviatrix, you will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy as we transition our company to a prescriptive, use case centric selling goliath
- You will work closely with your marketing counterparts who are executing a disciplined account based marketing trajectory to co-identify and then engage high propensity prospects
- You’ll work side-by-side with our next generation BDR team who are trained on our unique genAI prospecting and client development toolset to engage prospects with unrivaled insights
- You’ll be surrounded by a passionate team of well trained field engineers, partner managers, business value experts and post-sales value engineers to help ensure that you are proposing high value and high reward expansion
- Your primary focus will be on nurturing relationships, identifying expansion opportunities and closing strategic deals
- Communicate with customer to identify their needs and introduce Aviatrix’s solutions
- Manage contract renewals and identify expansion opportunities
- Build relationships with customer based on trust and respect
- Collaborate with internal teams cross-functionally to address customer needs
- Collaborate within the Aviatrix team on strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts, and customer care
- Collect and analyze data to learn more about customer behavior
- Keep accurate records related to customer accounts
- Maintain updated knowledge of company products and services
- Resolve complaints and prevent additional issues by improving processes
- Identify industry trends
- Act as a client advocate with a focus on improving the customer experience

Aviatrix is trying to modernise cloud technology by overcoming the isolation of different clouds that are built and operated by different companies. Its software facilitates multi-cloud networking, providing visualization, smooth data access, and firewall management.
The cloud revolution caused a mass migration of companies’ data from on-premise storage to cloud storage, but this migration is still ongoing. Aviatrix’s software helps with this migration and then allows these clouds to communicate with each other, while maintaining security, data integrity, automation, and user friendliness.
The rapid growth and enormous potential in this market has been noted by other companies and while investments are currently high, the space is likely to become crowded as competitors such as Site24x7 offer similar services. However, Aviatrix is a well-placed early adopter in an area of networking that hasn’t seen true innovation for years. It has also been named as one of 2024 's fastest growing private companies by Inc 5000, indicating its strong position.
