Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 8+ years of B2B marketing experience, specifically within the enterprise or municipal sector, with a proven track record of driving business growth and lead generation
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex B2B marketing campaigns, including account-based marketing (ABM) and multi-channel digital campaigns
- Experience collaborating with sales teams, creative teams, and external partners to produce high-quality, compelling content and campaigns tailored for business clients
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with a history of successfully managing multiple projects and campaigns
- Proficiency in data analytics, with the ability to interpret performance metrics and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and with enterprise clients
- Familiarity with common project management and collaboration tools, such as Google Suite, Excel, and tools like Coda or Notion
What the job involves
- Mill is seeking a strategic and results-driven Enterprise Marketing Manager to oversee and execute high-impact marketing initiatives that will drive growth, foster brand recognition, and generate leads within the enterprise and municipal markets
- As an integral part of our marketing team, you will be responsible for crafting and executing B2B marketing strategies that specifically target large enterprises and government organizations
- This role will require expertise in navigating complex decision-making processes, leveraging account-based marketing (ABM), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize our marketing efforts in driving measurable business results
- Lead the development and execution of tailored marketing strategies that drive growth and support Mill’s expansion within large enterprises and municipal markets
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless and consistent end-to-end journey for enterprise clients, including decision-makers in corporate offices and government agencies
- Design and implement targeted B2B marketing campaigns digital media, and events coordination and management. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure strong alignment between marketing initiatives and lead generation goals
- Oversee creative briefs, ensuring alignment with Mill's brand and values, and ensuring campaigns resonate with senior decision-makers in enterprise and municipal sectors
- Take ownership of project management for B2B initiatives, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet performance expectations
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns in the enterprise and municipal spaces, making actionable, data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
- Create in-depth performance reports, dashboards, and insights for stakeholders, focusing on ROI and impact across targeted B2B markets
- Regularly report on campaign progress, sharing learnings and optimizations with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that initiatives align with business goals and objectives
- Act as a key point of contact between internal teams (Creative, Analytics, Sales, Product) and external partners (agencies, vendors, media buyers), ensuring alignment and timely execution of B2B campaigns
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with all teams, keeping stakeholders updated on the status of campaigns, potential roadblocks, and successes
- Cultivate strong, strategic relationships with enterprise clients and municipal decision-makers, ensuring Mill’s marketing initiatives continue to address their evolving needs
- Contribute to the development and refinement of B2B marketing strategies aimed at penetrating new sectors and maintaining sustained growth within existing enterprise and municipal accounts
- Identify emerging opportunities and marketing channels to help Mill differentiate itself in a competitive market, specifically targeting large organizations and municipalities
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive benchmarks, and best practices within enterprise and government marketing to ensure Mill remains at the forefront of innovation
Our take
Wasted food and its decomposition do more for CO2 emissions globally than the entire airline industry combined. Whilst food waste bins run by local councils in the US do redirect the majority of food waste to recycling plants, there are still holes to plug, which is exactly what Mill is doing.
For a yearly subscription, customers can buy and use a combined waste tracking and impact app alongside the company’s purpose-made food waste bin. Unlike other bins for food waste, Mill’s product shrinks and dehydrates waste so that there’s no smell or runoff. Mill will dispose of your waste themselves, and use it for sustainable chicken feed.
With a number of high profile environmentally-friendly investors behind them, the Mill ecosystem has a range of benefits for company subscribers as well as individuals. Restaurants and offices can subscribe to Mill and help to move towards sustainability goals, whilst partnerships with local farms provide a solid revenue structure.
Mill is only available in the US, but since its successful first-gen launch in 2023, it has been using funding from that year to enhance its product offering and reach a wider market.
