Role
Who you are
- You have a keen eye for detail, prioritize usability and efficiency, and enjoy collaborating to solve operational challenges within a dynamic environment
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5+ years of dedicated professional experience in frontend development, demonstrating a "Confirmed" level of expertise and autonomy
- Strong, proven expertise in TypeScript and the Angular framework, including its core concepts and ecosystem
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors (SASS preferred)
- Solid experience consuming REST APIs and managing application state effectively
- Experience building UIs for business applications, administrative dashboards, data-heavy interfaces, or complex workflow tools is highly desirable
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI) and cloud environments (AWS) is a plus
- Deep understanding of modern Angular development practices and component-based architecture
- Strong ability to translate complex requirements and workflows into intuitive and efficient user interfaces
- Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., Chart.js, D3.js - depending on reporting needs) and component libraries featuring data grids and complex forms
- Proficiency with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright/Cypress) and strategies
- Solid understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, comfortable working with various internal stakeholders
- Experience with version control (Git) and agile methodologies
- Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken) is required for our Paris-based team

What the job involves
- We're hiring a confirmed Frontend Software Engineer to join Workflow & Operations squad
- A meticulous Frontend Engineer who thrives on optimizing processes and building tools that make people's work easier
- While other teams focus directly on medical aspects, our mission is crucial: to build and optimize the tools that keep practices running smoothly
- As a Confirmed Frontend Engineer on this team, you will play a key role in reducing the administrative burden
- You'll design and develop intuitive interfaces for critical functions, including: remote monitoring reporting , financial management tools, administrative patient information systems, and overall platform navigation
- Your work will directly impact the daily efficiency and experience of our users, enabling them to focus on their core mission of improving patient care
- Design, develop, test, and maintain sophisticated, user-friendly interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/SASS
- Collaborate with the Frontend Lead Engineer to build and enhance our Core Design System library, ensuring UI consistency and promoting component reusability across our applications
- Build clear and effective dashboards and reporting interfaces to visualize key operational metrics
- Develop intuitive workflows and interfaces for financial management processes (e.g., billing support, reporting)
- Create efficient UIs for managing administrative patient information (non-clinical data)
- Collaborate on improving overall platform navigation and user experience consistency across internal tools
- Work closely with Product Managers, Backend Engineers, and internal stakeholders to translate operational needs into robust frontend solutions
- Implement comprehensive frontend testing (unit, integration, E2E) using frameworks like Jest and Playwright
- Optimize application performance, ensuring responsiveness and efficiency for internal users
- Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to evolving our frontend best practices
- At Implicity, you will have a weekly meeting with your manager, to help you succeed in your mission, and continuously improve your skills
- Each team works with quarterly OKR, to be crystal clear, fair and honest with your targets

Our take
The MedTech boom has seen many innovations through the 2010s, and Implicity, a remote patient monitoring and cardiac data management company, has definitely had a clear lineage of growth since its founding in 2016.
Implicity develops software to monitor and analyse the information from pacemakers and cardiovascular devices to aid physicians and healthcare professionals through all stages of a patient’s treatment. However, maintaining growth on one product alone is hard, especially with so much Medtech competition. Implicity remedies this with its other product, a data analysis platform that uses AI and cloud technology to analyse the devices linked up to its aforementioned pacemaker and cardio health platform. Implicity leverages this data for use in patient management, clinical studies, and R&D.
Playing both fields of MedTech has diversified the draw for hospitals and companies to Implicity. It continues to update and diversify the double offering via updates to its systems with the company hoping to exemplify the continued innovation that is key to MedTech company growth.
