Who you are
- This is ideal for a highly-motivated Sales Development Representative or Account Executive seeking challenge, growth, and exposure
- <1 year of full-cycle sales experience, with a proven track record acquiring new business and exceeding pipeline targets with a minimum 1 year as a top-performing SDR
- Passion for solution-based selling, complex sales methodologies, and consultative approaches
- Strong technical aptitude with comfort leveraging AI tools as well as discussing APIs, SDKs, tag managers, and platform integrations at a conceptual level with various stakeholders
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to both technical and non-technical audiences of all levels, including executives
- Comfortable with change in a high-growth organization; you have a natural curiosity and ability to quickly adapt to ambiguity

What the job involves
- We’re looking for an ambitious Account Executive who is ready to take their career to the next level and own the full Enterprise sales cycle in the growing European market - from prospecting and discovery through close and account expansion
- You will champion Firework’s innovative SaaS solutions to major enterprise brands and retailers across diverse industries, continuously creating and closing key opportunities with organizations that have complex needs
- Work cross-functionally to set priorities and make key strategic decisions for identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities with enterprise accounts across multiple industries
- Own the entire enterprise sales cycle from initial outreach and demos through negotiation and close; manage accurate pipeline data and activity logs in Salesforce
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with key decision-makers by deeply understanding their business objectives and strategic priorities, delivering value in order to meet assigned revenue goals
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, product demos, and customized proposals tailored that connect Firework’s capabilities to each prospect’s specific business goals
- Partner closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Integration Solutions to align strategies and ensure world-class customer experiences
- Collaborate with leadership to continuously refine processes, playbooks, and frameworks that help shape and scale go-to-market strategies efficiently
Our take
Live-streamed shopping has long been popular in China. In 2020, the first 30 minutes of Alibaba’s Singles’ Day presale's campaign on Taobao Live generated an impressive $7.5B in total transaction value. Firework is helping to bring these kinds of video-based eCommerce experiences to a Western audience with a smart commercial strategy.
Originally launched as a standalone social platform featuring swipe-able web stories, Firework made a strategic shift towards a more streamlined B2B model. It now provides services to partners by granting them access to its video technology infrastructure, enabling them to effortlessly launch diverse and interactive shippable videos on their respective websites. The outcome of this pivot has paid off, with Firework emerging as the leading global platform of its kind.
The real money in shoppable videos is ultimately live-streamed experiences, which are still not landing for American audiences. Despite this, Firework’s more complete offering, including the ability to directly collect consumer data and learn about a shopper’s behaviour, means that American brands are giving the startup business ahead of this anticipated cultural shift.
