What the job involves
- Perplexity is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our high impact Platform engineering team – the backbone of reliability and scalability for everything we build
- Provide engineering leadership across multiple layers of a rapidly growing platform
- Set standards for reliability, code quality, testing, and maintenance
- Oversee onboarding and ensure code quality for a growing team
- Collaborate closely with AI research, Search and Product teams
- Develop rigorous interview pipelines and work closely with recruiting to source candidates
