Who you are
- We are seeking a creative and results-driven BDR Outreach Content Manager to oversee the creation, curation, and distribution of high-quality content across multiple channels
- The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller, an excellent communicator, and a data-driven strategist who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Proven experience (2+ years) in content creation, management, or a similar role
- Experience with Outreach.io required
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail
- Previous experience being a Sales Development Representative or managing a team of sales development representatives
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset
What the job involves
- In this role, you will develop and execute a strategic content plan that aligns with our brand's voice, business objectives, and audience needs
- Content Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that supports business goals, enhances brand awareness, and engages target audiences
- System Administration: Manage Outreach and content in Outreach for all three BDR regions, running experiments with subject lines and personalization within the tool
- Content Creation: Write, edit, and oversee the production of various content types including inbound and outbound emails, buyer persona emails, event emails, account sign up emails, linkedin messages, voicemail scripts
- Editorial Calendar: Manage and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery and consistent output across all platforms
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and design, to ensure content aligns with campaigns and brand messaging
- Analytics & Reporting: Partner with BDR Ops Manager to monitor content performance using Outreach and provide regular reports on KPIs, and making data-informed recommendations for improvement
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, tone, and style to maintain a cohesive brand identity
- Audience Engagement: Develop strategies to grow and engage our audience across various platforms and channels
Our take
After a few slower years since graduating from Y Combinator in 2013, Fivetran has skyrocketed, consistently raising large sums of funding, including an Andreessen Horowitz-backed $565m Series D round in 2021.
Customers are mostly data analysts at companies with inefficient database schema, who suffer from a high risk of project failures. Fivetran offers rapid integration of complex data services into cloud warehouses, tagging onto the trend towards cloud-based data systems.
By developing and continuously improving cloud applications that adapt to changing APIs and data schemas, Fivetran is attracting customers who seek long-term data viability. Fivetran also benefits from being easy to set up and integrate into a client's existing software.
After acquiring HVR, a data integration competitor, and Teleport Data, Fivetran continues to add functionality and customers via acquisition. A round of funding in 2023 paved the way for expansion into European and Asian markets.
