Who you are
- This person should bring a deep understanding of sales operations and revenue workflows, and thrive in a high-performance, fast-paced environment
- Experience: 3+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Deal Desk roles—ideally within SaaS, tech, or high-growth companies
- Sales Process Expertise: Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle and how to support reps through quoting, approvals, and deal structuring
- Tools: Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel/Google Sheets. Experience with CPQ tools is a major plus
- Analytical Thinking: Able to interpret data and guide decisions that improve sales efficiency and performance
- Communication: Clear, concise, and confident communicator—comfortable working cross-functionally and supporting a field-facing role
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a hands-on Quote Specialist to support our fast-growing global sales teams
- Based in the UK, this role will serve as a key partner to our international sales leaders, supporting the creation of accurate, high-quality quotes, accelerating deal cycles, and enabling a frictionless sales process
- Quoting & Discounting Support:
- Partner closely with sales reps to create and review quotes, ensure proper product configuration. Provide frontline support to reps and ensure quotes meet pricing and policy guidelines
- Deal Desk Execution:
- Own day-to-day deal flow coordination. Act as the point of contact for sales on active deals, streamlining cross-functional reviews and helping remove blockers quickly
- Sales Process Enablement:
- Act as a trusted partner to Sales leadership, ensuring reps are equipped to navigate each stage of the sales process—from initial quote through booking
- Renewals Management:
- Track upcoming renewals and collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to manage timelines, reduce risk, and support renewal quoting
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Connect the dots across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product teams to keep deals on track and ensure compliance with internal policies
- Quote Training:
- Provide ongoing training for field sales on quoting processes, best practices, and tool efficiency. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to ensure a smooth, efficient quoting process
- Process Optimization:
- Identify gaps or inefficiencies in quoting and deal execution workflows, and implement scalable, repeatable improvements
Our take
VAST Data is building what you might call the plumbing for the AI era - a purpose-built data platform that unifies storage, compute, and data services in a single, scalable system. With its disaggregated, shared-everything (DASE) architecture, it allows companies to scale their storage independently from compute, meaning AI workloads can grow without being held back by infrastructure bottlenecks. And their platform delivers flash-speed performance, multi-protocol access, and enterprise-grade reliability, all while keeping costs reasonable.
This architecture is especially relevant now, and the company has recently partnered with GMI Cloud as a key data infrastructure provider for GMI's ambitious new "AI factory" in Taiwan. The data centre is expected to house 7,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUS and will lean on VAST's exabyte-scale storage to handle data for model training, inference, and real-time processing.
On top of this, VAST has secured some major partnerships and deals that really position it strongly for the future of AI infrastructure. In November 2025, it struck a $1.17B agreement with CoreWeave, making VAST the primary data foundation for their GPU cloud. It also expanded its collaboration with Google Cloud to offer its AI Operating System as a fully managed service, allowing global data access across on-prem and cloud environments using VAST DataSpace. 2026 saw it complete a $1 billion Series F round that rocketed its valuation to $30 billion. These moves suggest VAST isn't just keeping up with AI demand but shaping the infrastructure that will power the next generation of large-scale, distributed intelligent systems.
