- Are passionate about shaping and executing a compelling product vision and strategy

- Have experience in a product-focused, service-oriented environment, ideally within a Series B+ (or similar) international scale-up with a product and engineering team of 30+
- Have a proven track record in leading high performing product teams
- Are fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in Dutch/French is a plus
- Available to work at least 3 days a week out of our Amsterdam office
What the job involves
- As Head of Product, you’ll own the Seenons platform, the secret sauce that connects customers, service partners, and internal teams to streamline circular waste management
- After building the foundation and achieving product-market fit, we’re entering a phase of intentional expansion, aiming to scale rapidly and mature as an organization
- You’ll lead the charge in expanding the platform to meet evolving customer needs, prioritizing, executing on tight timelines, and ensuring we stay ahead of the curve
- You’ll shape the long-term product vision and strategy, working closely with the CTO and CEO, while leading a team of 5 product managers and designers, supported by a team of +20 software engineers & analysts
- Your leadership will drive innovation, oversee the product lifecycle, and set clear performance metrics, all while communicating the product vision to stakeholders and shareholders
- You’ll lay the groundwork for a scalable, high-performing platform that powers Seenons’ international growth

Our take
Waste is a major problem in Europe, with millions tonnes of waste incinerated per year. While the EU has set ambitious targets of zero waste by 2030, and zero-waste influencers have taken TikTok by storm, the infrastructure doesn't yet exist to achieve these goals. Enter Seenons, a Dutch startup aiming to make zero waste a reality. Its platform is designed to connect the waste chain and stimulate the circular economy, saving resources and fighting climate change in the process.
Seenons' platform works by linking together waste companies in a kind of marketplace, connecting waste channels in such a way that the right kinds of waste reach the right processors. This saves a huge amount of waste from the incinerator - Seenons has calculated that its solution could reduce waste in the Netherlands by half a million tonnes, or around 25%. As the only solution of its type in Europe, the company has collected numerous awards and venture capital funding to support its goals.
Seenons has grown its team swiftly, and has its sights set on becoming the European leader in the circular economy by 2026. As demand for zero-waste solutions is on the rise, it seems set to continue its promising trajectory into the future. Funding raised will help to make technological improvements to its offering, as well as invest in international growth.
