- You’re energized by complex problems and motivated by meaningful change—deepening engagement, driving conversion, increasing LTV, and crafting branded moments of delight across the full customer lifecycle
- You move fluidly between Figma and AI tools—exploring motion, interaction, and code-aware prototypes with a high level of craft and technical fluency
- 6+ years of experience in UX/Product Design, including at least 2 years in a lead or principal role
- A portfolio showcasing high-impact digital work—especially across e-commerce, subscription, and lifecycle flows
- Mastery of interaction and visual design, with fluency in Figma, motion tools, and code-aware prototyping platforms
- Strong grasp of product performance metrics (CVR, LTV, retention, etc.) and the role of design in optimizing them
- Deep understanding of modern design systems and their evolution
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills—able to align stakeholders, influence strategy, and inspire action
- A passion for science, wellness, and building experiences that inform, empower, and retain users long-term
What the job involves
- For us, “design” goes far beyond visual guidelines. It permeates through everything that we do and is a primary mechanism for storytelling and scientific translation
- We are looking for an exceptional Lead Product Designer to create and execute seamless, intuitive and perspective-shifting digital brand experiences
- You collaborate deeply across Product, Engineering, MX, and Brand—and bring a principled, inventive approach that elevates not just the expe, but the team around you
- Lead the design of end-to-end lifecycle experiences—from pre-purchase discovery to post-purchase subscription management and loyalty engagement—using first principles and behavioral insights to reduce friction, drive conversion, and increase long-term value
- Prototype rapidly using tools like Figma, Bolt, Jitter, and Cursor; explore interaction and motion to elevate clarity, craft, and engagement
- Partner cross-functionally with Growth, Engineering, Brand, and Customer Care to design cohesive and scalable experiences across the lifecycle
- Contribute to and evolve our design system—ensuring accessibility, usability, consistency, and brand maturity across every touchpoint
- Champion a test-and-learn culture—leveraging A/B testing, user feedback, and product analytics to iterate and optimize
- Help define a high-craft, collaborative design culture through mentorship, open critique, and principled design thinking

Our take
Seed Health is a microbial company that researches, develops and sells probiotic supplements to boost gastrointestinal, dermatological oral, pediatric and nutritional health.
The last decade has seen a renewed focus on probiotics, and gut health in particular, with scores of companies bringing supplements to market. However the efficacy of many of these are still shrouded in doubt, and lacking in insightful scientific research. Seed appears committed to upping (and setting) the standard. The company’s chief scientist, Dr. Gregor Reid, is a global authority in microbial sciences, having chaired the UN-WHO panel that first defined the term “probiotics”. On top of this, the company’s advisory board comes with a strong resume in microbiology, immunology, genetics, metabolomics, gastroenterology, pediatrics, environmental sciences and women’s health.
The next big step for Seed Health will be to rise above an already crowded marketplace while continuing R&D for new product categories, with a particular focus on AI applications. Substantial funding in 2021 alongside stable profitability and the fostering of groundbreaking partnerships with the likes of the Swiss Institute of Allergy prove it is turning heads in the science sector.
