The Senior Marketing Specialist, VR role sits on the Supply Marketing – Vacation Rentals team in the Travel Partnerships and Media division of Expedia Group
This team acquires new vacation rental listings and coaches them to improve listing presentation and performance
In this role, your expertise and passion for innovative and impactful marketing campaigns, will improve the experience of millions of travelers and travel partners each year
Develop, implement, and manage integrated marketing campaigns focused on driving promotion adoption for partners who list on Vrbo.com
Test and iterate on creative assets and messaging to maximize effectiveness
Create segment-specific strategies with supporting creative briefs, analytics requests, operations briefs, asset specs, and readouts
Understand performance data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize campaigns in real-time (e.g., ROI, conversion rates, engagement)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align campaign objectives with business goals and execute campaign strategies

Its primary web businesses include Expedia.com, Hotels.com, Hotwire.com, and Egencia.com.

Between 2021 and 2022, Expedia has been selling and merging a list of its sub-brands in a bid to simplify its operations, including Egencia and Classic Vacations. Due to plummeting share prices, mostly in the case of its sub-brands, Expedia has been leveraging its subsidiaries' customer base and merging them into the company’s core brand. Contrasting this move, Expedia has also been partnering with tech start-ups in a bid to make travel more accessible to underserved groups. Becoming Rentable, a travel company for the disabled is one of 12 startups that are part of Expedia Group’s new Open World Accelerator Programme.
