Proven experience shipping and operating customer-facing web apps
Deep expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript and strong proficiency with React, Node.js, REST architecture, and SQL databases
Track record of owning features from concept to deployment, including writing clear design docs and tests
Strength in performance/debugging across client ↔ API ↔ data layers; data-heavy UI experience a plus

What the job involves

We’re seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join Procure, a first-of-its-kind product that turns generative building designs into instant, reliable material takeoffs, shrinking days of estimating into minutes
Design and implement product features in our stack (React, TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL) that make takeoffs fast, clear, and trustworthy
Maintain high code quality with risk-based tests (unit, integration, e2e) and thoughtful code reviews
Own features end-to-end: scoping, design docs, implementation, and deployment; communicating dependencies and risks early

Our take

The housing market is trending toward a recession, signaling the return to a buyers’ market. This should be great news for buyers, but the current housing shortage means most new builds lack customization, as reduced variability allows builders to anticipate and quickly execute new builds.

Higharc’s software automates and optimizes every step of the home building process, creating a fully customizable 3D model that is seamlessly translated into blueprints, resulting in better-built homes by eliminating material waste and costly errors, and saving consumers from cookie-cutter houses.

The all-in-one homebuilding platform raised additional funding in early 2024, with a strategic investment from Spark Capital. This addition will help the company further optimize its offerings and fuel its growth.
