What the job involves
- This People Strategy Operations Manager is responsible for engaging as the People Strategy partner to Oscar's manager bench and serving as a centralized point in the team for day to day manager support and coaching, company wide-change management logistics, and department project representation
- You will report into the Senior Director, People Strategy
- Act as a first point of contact and thought partner for manager inquiries and workplace concerns to aid in de-escalation and coaching
- Host regular 'manager office hours' for Sr. Manager and below to ensure people strategy support can be multiplied at junior leader levels
- Develop and execute comms plans, change management plans, and run-of-show documentation for large or high visibility events (RIF, key leader departures, department transformation, onboarding)
- Serve as the People Strategy representation in the People Department projects
- Identify demands for forum/event needs and leader education that will prompt action including data pulls, artifact creation and/or partnership with the COEs for new content builds
- Lead in the People Strategy data ownership responsibilities by maintaining and regularly updating the HRIS - organizational charts and standard data reviews for accuracy
- Handle documentation and system actions related to the employee life cycle, including opening new requisitions, terminations, and access shut off
- Drive forward partnership with with the Engagement Team on events and culture building activities in support of varying departments, at the direction of the People Strategy Lead(s)
- Stay connected to the source of truth for benefits and policies, translating complex policies into actionable scenarios
- Proactively builds relationships with manager level employees to ensure coaching at all leader levels and thoughtful information flow
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
