Who you are
- Excited to work at the intersection of Big Data and the Cybersecurity problem spaces, including on correlation at scale, with a keen attention to detail
- Love coding, testing, and finding way to improve or automate tests

What the job involves
- The Software Developer in Test will contribute to our Platform Engineering department by supporting initiatives that enhance the flexibility, performance, and scalability of Arctic Wolf’s threat hunting and event correlation engines
- This includes enabling the detection of sophisticated cyberattacks at scale by building and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks and contributing to the development of high-throughput distributed systems
- We are looking for a Software Developer in Test to join our pack and help expand the capabilities of Arctic Wolf’s threat hunting and event correlation engines
- Arctic Wolf processes trillions of events a day from a wide variety of on-premises devices and cloud platforms
- Our team owns the threat detection and event correlation rule engines that hosts Arctic Wolf’s threat detection rules and runs them against this stream of data
- We are continuously working to extend and refine our flexibility to detect ever more sophisticated attacks
- Join us in our efforts to evolve the capabilities of the engine to enable our security experts to express ever more complex detection logic and detect attacks at all steps of the cyber security kill chain
- Build and maintain test automation frameworks for Arctic Wolf’s next generation threat hunting and event correlation engine, working closely with other team members, product, architecture, and engineering leadership
- Design and implement automated performance and scalability test frameworks for extreme-scale high-performance services in a real-time threat analysis platform, using both streaming and batch technologies
- Work with mature CI/CD process that see containerized services through to production within hours
- Work as part of an essential part of a team of highly skilled software professionals
- Continuously learn and expand your technical horizons
- Conducts duties and responsibilities in accordance with AWN’s Information Security policies, standards, processes and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of AWN business information (in accordance with our employee handbook and corporate policies)
