Who you are
- The successful candidate will have experience communicating value propositions to select Enterprise audience segments through live and virtual events
- The ideal candidate will be highly data driven to optimize activity to support business growth in meaningful ways
- You should be highly organized, hardworking, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where team collaboration is crucial to success and changes happen fast
- 8-12 years of experience in field marketing or event management, with a strong record of managing events and conferences at scale
- Proven expertise in trade show planning, sponsorship management, and event execution with high attention to detail
- You have sponsored events like Dreamworks, Hubspot Inbound, or other Sales and RevOps focused events
- Experience managing field programs beyond physical events
- Strong collaboration skills to partner effectively with sales and other cross-functional teams
- Data-driven approach to campaign and event optimization, with experience tracking performance metrics and adjusting strategies based on insights. Experience having pipeline building responsibility
- Experience managing event budgets

What the job involves
- Tango is looking for an energetic Sr. Events & Field Marketing Manager to join the Demand Generation team
- You will plan and execute conferences and tradeshows, regional events, virtual roundtables, briefings, and webinars, ensuring alignment with brand and business objectives
- You will build and manage a scalable, high-performing field marketing program to engage target audiences, support product education, and generate qualified leads
- This role reports to our Head of Demand Generation
- Execute a field marketing strategy that has a mix of industry-targeted events, regional events, virtual events, and webinars that will help you meet and exceed pipeline targets
- Leverage deep tradeshow knowledge to maximize our presence at industry events, making event sponsorships high-performing, turnkey, and aligned with marketing goals
- Plan and execute smaller, targeted events across key regions to engage specific audiences and address focused use cases, enhancing our presence within key segments
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to create event strategies that drive lead generation, conversion, and revenue growth
- Measure and analyze the impact of events, continuously refining strategies to improve ROI and strengthen the role of events within the broader marketing mix
- Oversee event budgets and maximize resource efficiency for high-impact outcomes
- Some travel for events will be required
Our take
Teaching workflows to new employees can be a difficult task, traditionally being conducted on a computer in person. Whilst digital alternatives such as screen recording can make it easier, this process can still be convoluted when simple step-by-step guides are more than sufficient.
Tango provides a web browser extension for generating step-by-step training guides, allowing training teams to teach new employees workflows in real-time. Users can turn the extension on to automatically convert their on-screen actions into written instructions accompanied by screenshots, providing a simple means of teaching workflows without in-person training or video recordings.
Whilst there are certainly many other software tools that training teams can use to teach business workflows, Tango has recognized that existing solutions can be convoluted, providing a streamlined and easy-to-use alternative. The company claims that through this approach, it can help save businesses time and money, whilst optimizing the clarity of workflow teachings.
