Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field of study and 8 years of experience scaling a SaaS organization or product line to $30 million in annual recurring revenue and beyond
Must successfully complete a competency-based interview
8 years of experience creating and iterating sales playbooks; 8 years of experience with B2B sales experience including that of a venture capital-funded software company
5 years of experience with selling to developers in the infrastructure or cybersecurity space and demand generation, financial planning, sales management, and recruitment and management of B2B sales team
5 years of experience with financial management, territory planning, B2B sales models leveraging tools like a customer relationship management system, marketing automation platform, and other modern sales technology such as: salesforce, CRM software, AWS, and other marketing and sales tools
And 4 years of experience with cloud architecture design, optimization, diagnostics, and other modern agile application deployment practices such as: waterfall deployments, iterative deployment, continuous deployments, and other approaches to DevOps

What the job involves

Responsibilities include: leading sales team to set and deliver on growth targets; working with the CEO, VP Marketing, VP Engineering, and VP Customer Success to determine attainable growth goals, manage the go to market plan, and build the team to execute this plan
Starting the annual growth plan, hiring and enabling the go to market team; analyzing areas where DuploCloud is over-/under-performing; working first-hand with strategic customers; engaging customers as they consider strategic cloud operations initiatives
Telecommuting permitted from within the Bay Area
This position requires monthly travel within U.S. and Canada

Our take

DuploCloud was created in response to what its founder called a “technical inequity in the cloud development space", having discovered a lack in automation techniques while working on Microsoft Azure's cloud software. In short, it was founded to address the lack of diversity in built-for-purpose tools for the cloud infrastructure provision space.

The company's suite of products includes automated provisioning, compliance services, and integration tools for more than 500 cloud services. Working with both startups and hypergrowth companies, the aim is to help companies manage their cloud services without having to build their own automation tools or rely on impersonal cloud giants like Microsoft and AWS.

Its target market then are companies that want scalable cloud provision tools that would otherwise cost millions to build and maintain. The company is clearly on to something, as it boasts an annual recurring revenue that grew 700% between 2021 and 2023. It has also successfully raised $32 million in Series B funding, which exemplifies the demand for its market gap-bridging product.
