Who you are
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in recruitment, with a primary focus on GTM (Go-To-Market) roles
- Proven track record of successfully leading recruitment efforts in the Americas region, preferably in a high-growth, global organization
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies
- Experience in collaborating with hiring teams to make data-driven recruitment decisions and meet hiring goals
- Proficient in utilizing data and analytics to drive recruitment strategies and decision-making, with experience in creating data-driven reports and effectively communicating insights to inform and influence both recruitment and business strategies
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with and influencing executive stakeholders to align recruitment strategies with business goals
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a recruiter to join our growing team in Austin and play a key role in shaping our Americas HQ at Wise
- As a Senior GTM Recruiter, you will be essential in scaling our organization, fostering a strong team culture, and helping us deliver value to our customers
- Reporting to the Head of Americas Talent Acquisition, you will lead recruitment efforts across the region and help build a high-performing team
- Strategic Recruitment: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, collaborating with hiring teams to make data-driven decisions and meet hiring goals
- Talent Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with exceptional candidates, ensuring they have a positive and seamless recruitment experience
- Candidate Experience: Ensure all candidates, regardless of outcome, have a positive interaction with Wise, building a strong talent pool for future opportunities
- Sourcing Innovation: Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent across the Americas
- Employer Brand Collaboration: Partner with the Employer Brand and Marketing teams to create recruitment marketing campaigns and events that resonate with prospective candidates
- Team Partnership: Collaborate with hiring teams to support their initiatives, including onboarding, talent mapping, and salary benchmarking
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use data to identify hiring challenges and optimize recruitment processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency across the region
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the broader People team to ensure a seamless and positive employee experience from recruitment through integration
Our take
Wise started when the two founders realised they would be better off trading Estonian kroons for British pounds (and vice versa) between themselves rather than going through banks. That was back in 2011, and they've since grown Wise into one of Europe's most successful tech businesses, exchanging billions of currency every month.
Wise rapidly grew by solving a significant problem for customers, who lost too much money to banks when exchanging currency. Its attracted investment from some of the best investors in the world, from Andreesen Horowitz to Index Ventures and even Richard Branson.
While the market is crowded with new entrants (think Revolut and Monzo) and traditional banks trying to catch up, Wise is still staying one step ahead having recently opened a new hub in India and new payment features as well as reporting a rise in key metrics on higher volume and customer growth. This continued growth positions the company well for continued success in the future.
