Who you are

3+ years of experience as IT professional with a core competency (e.g., SaaS management, OS/device management, network management, system administration, security control administration, hardware management, data management)
Deep knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows, MacOS), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring
Experience with Google and Okta IDPs, as well as state of the art security architectures such as Zero Trust
Experience managing Google Workspace
Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions
Strong creative and analytical thinking
Record of professional education, certificates, or college degree in IT or adjacent fields
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail

What the job involves

We are looking for an IT professional to join the IT team at Figure, focusing on building out IT operations and processes across the company to meet technology and growth needs
Provide troubleshooting and support as the first point of contact for technical issues, providing help desk support, resolving software and hardware problems, and assisting users with their technology needs
Help with one or more of the core domains of the IT team: network management, system administration, SaaS management, security control administration, hardware management, or data management,
Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including endpoint devices (laptops, workstations, mobile devices), operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, software, and hardware
Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration
Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed

Our take

Humanoid robots are quickly moving from sci-fi to reality, with big tech companies racing to bring them into workplaces, and soon, our homes. It's a booming market, and Figure is one of the big names in the game.

Figure builds human-like robots that are powered by advanced AI that can walk, see, and even understand natural language. Its latest model, the Figure 02, is already piloting in a BMW factory, and its in-house AI system, Helix lets these robots perform complex tasks from simple voice prompts. The company's moving fast, and it's not slowing down anytime soon.

But moving fast comes with baggage. It recently cut ties with OpenAI after claiming a major breakthrough in robot intelligence, and it's now working completely solo. Still, Figure just secured major commercial deals and may be headed for a jaw-dropping $40B valuation. It's a high-stakes field that's as exciting as it is controversial and Figure is certainly one to watch out for.
