Who you are
- We’re looking for someone who is an experience do-er, who can switch altitudes from the long-term big picture right down into assessing technical requirements and how we practically design the most feasible and delightful journey for our customers today

- You’ve had significant experience of translating complex customer and business requirements into simple and user-friendly customer solutions, at a senior level
- You've initiated, formulated and implemented new business practices as part of a significant change management programme, within a large complex organisation
- You've managed the definition, development, and/or delivery of a significant product or service of an organisation's development/engineering programme
- You’re adept at setting up and delivering UX Change Roadmaps for new consumer products and propositions. This ranges from pixel peeping on conversion journeys to maximise effectiveness, to influencing multi-year pan-business investment plans
- You're highly experienced at managing relationships with external partners, providers and stakeholders to deliver solutions
- You're unafraid to set aspirational outcomes, but you’re also happy to get stuck in and help build solutions that see the light of day
- You're comfortable with challenge, used to asking penetrating questions, and engage constructively when challenged yourself
- You’re someone who seeks hard technology and process challenges, and can come up with simple solutions that balance short-term outcomes with long-term direction
- You engage collaboratively with partners to bring all hands on deck to solve a problem
- You care about detail but are comfortable with uncertainty and ambiguity – you can zoom out to see which areas of detail truly matter, and how to build with the right tolerances

What the job involves
- This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team that is charged with moving Lloyds into the embedded finance market, where we can compete with the likes of PayPal, Klarna and other point of sale lending players
- We’re operating in a lean start up model where we all work to get the job done, and don’t stand on ceremony or job titles
- As the Senior UX Designer for Embedded Finance, you’ll be part of the Experience Design team and ‘embedded’ in the product team, reporting day to day to the Customer Experience Lead
- You’ll work closely with Product, Design and Engineering colleagues across Functions, Business Units, and our External Technology Partner (NewDay Tech) to build products that win in the market
- You’ll be responsible for developing a thoroughly researched and validated roadmap for Embedded Finance, encompassing builds of capabilities, features and user experience as we create new propositions to meet evolving customer and channel needs
- To create this, you’ll build a deep understanding of customer needs, and pain points, keep a close watch on competitors’ solutions and emerging capabilities, and work closely with technology teams to learn from, and leverage, best practices and builds
- You'll also work alongside technology partners inside and outside the Group to leverage their backlogs in a strategic way
- This is an exciting opportunity to build out Embedded Finance solutions in a competitive and fast paced market
- It’s also a great opportunity to work extensively with a range of teams across Lloyds and external service providers and technology partners
