Role
Who you are
- 8+ years of experience in a Human Resources role with recent experience as a HR Business Partner supporting a senior executive
- Experience working in a fast-paced, growth company where the business is constantly evolving
- Experience working with data from diverse sources and turning data into insights
- Demonstrated history in designing and facilitating large scale interventions for leadership development
- Demonstrated ability to influence multiple stakeholders with competing priorities, managing complexity and implementing People programs at the company level
- Recent experience supporting senior sales executives and/or the Chief Revenue Officer
- We require candidates to possess eligible working rights and have a compatible timezone overlap with their team to facilitate seamless collaboration
Desirable
- Prior experience managing a team of business partners
- Strong business and HR acumen, ability to understand business strategies and use OD, talent management and other HR interventions to translate knowledge into appropriate HR and management actions
- Effective consulting skills, ability to coach senior executive leaders, able to present practical solutions that are heard, understood and supported
- Strong collaborator, managing multiple inputs and delivering solutions with a one-team mindset while maintaining a good sense of humor
- Ability to maximize relationships and communicate constructively when offering quality advice, counsel and insights
- Outstanding listening and communication skills and demonstrated ability to use feedback to learn, change and grow

- The People team at Coursera is responsible for building our teams, retaining our amazing talent, and developing programs that create community and promote employee engagement. Currently, we are tackling programs aimed at helping Coursera to continue to scale as a top global company of high-performance teams. - You will work closely with Executives and HR partners to ensure that the People strategy supports Coursera’s strategy and overall business goals
- You will partner with executives and senior leaders to design and execute talent management strategies to enable our organization to scale and work closely with our People team to deliver innovative solutions to our most pressing business challenges
- Build a strong business partner relationship with executives, senior leaders and employees, and develop a strong understanding of their business, their goals and their challenges in order to drive organizational performance and improve and maintain the quality of team culture
- Collaborate with a team of business partners and align with People team members globally to execute on executive leaders’ people strategy while building a high-performance culture
- Anticipate, assess and address systemic issues through facilitation, coaching, and delivery of interventions; using relevant data to inform and create insight for executives and their leadership teams
- Consults with senior executives, diagnose root causes and provide guidance and influencing leaders to drive business decisions
- Coach senior leaders to navigate the complexities of managing teams, topics to include understanding total rewards, managing career development, developing a high performance culture, providing conflict resolution strategies to complex employee relations issues
- Be a champion of Coursera’s culture and values, consulting with senior business leaders on strategic initiatives, working with cross-functional groups and the People team to solve complex organizational challenges, and be an integral part of the client’s leadership team
- Supports the design, development and execution of critical People initiatives and workstreams such as organization design, workforce planning, compensation strategies, talent development and succession planning
