Role
Who you are
- Our team is seeking a GRC practitioner interested in a career switch into implementation!
- 3+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit, IT audit, IT compliance, or risk management, with direct involvement in implementing, configuring, or rolling out audit, risk, or compliance systems
- Intermediate to expert Excel skills
- Outgoing personality and the ability to build strong and fast relationships with clients
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, requiring constant learning and adaptability
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with emphasis on phone, email, and online communications
- Ability to connect at all levels of the organization using diplomatic communication, influence, and negotiation skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proven experience in GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), including implementing, managing, or optimizing GRC frameworks, processes, or tools to meet organizational compliance and security objectives is preferred
- Prior experience with AuditBoard/Optro is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus
What the job involves
- We are looking for a positive, self-motivated professional to implement Optro’s software. The Implementation Project Lead will be responsible for effectively managing all aspects of Optro’s implementations from sales handoff to system go-live
- Develop a deep knowledge of our product, and help customers through the implementation lifecycle from kickoff, through design and user acceptance testing
- Able to gather and interpret customer requirements and configure the Optro solution to meet their needs
- Serve as a project manager for small, medium, and large Optro implementation projects
- Maintain project status and manage client and internal resources to complete project deliverables
