What the job involves
- A Credit Controller at Indeed Flex manages the financial relationship with clients to ensure timely resolution of issues, receipt of payment and escalations
- The successful applicant should be able to work in fast-paced environments towards monthly targets and deadlines
- You will communicate with customers via email, telephone and scheduled meetings
- They should be able to work as part of a team and drive organisational change as well as independently to ensure the workload is kept under control
- Responsibility for the management and collection of a large volume of client accounts
- Following up on overdue payments from customers (via phone and email) and making Escalation Assessments as required
- Liaising with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and highlighting consistent risks
- Securing payment on all undisputed invoices promptly
- Taking all reasonable steps to limit the extent of bad debts
- Maintenance of the credit control system, keeping customers information up to date (via NetSuite)
- Running Credit Assessments for new customers
- Ensuring adherence with the company’s and trade creditor's credit control policies
- Building strong working relationships with both our customers and internal teams
- Assisting cash application team to ensure receipts are applied accurately and there is no unallocated cash on account
