Who you are

  • Proven experience as a product leader in data platforms, data infrastructure, or data strategy
  • A strong strategic mindset, with a track record of setting vision, building roadmaps, and delivering impact
  • Experience leading small, high-performing product teams, with a passion for mentoring and growing talent
  • Comfort in challenging assumptions and driving change in a complex organisation
  • Technical fluency in data platforms, cloud architectures, and AI/ML workflows (you don’t need to be an engineer, but you should understand the space)
  • Ability to influence and align across multiple teams, balancing technical and business needs

What the job involves

  • As we continue to invest in our Data & AI capabilities, we’re looking for a Product Management Lead to drive the vision, strategy, and execution for our Data Platforms portfolio
  • This is a high-impact role for a strategic product leader who thrives on setting vision, shaping roadmaps, challenging the status quo, and delivering platforms that unlock data value for SIE
  • You’ll lead a small team of product managers, partnering across engineering, programme management, and stakeholder teams to ensure PlayStation’s data ecosystem is built for scale, insight, and innovation with a keen focus on value realisation
  • Set the Vision & Strategy – Define and drive the strategy for PlayStation’s Data Platforms, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term goals
  • Lead & Grow a Team – Manage and develop a team of product managers, fostering a strong product mindset and execution excellence
  • Drive Execution & Impact – Translate vision into roadmaps, working closely with engineering to build scalable and trusted data platforms
  • Challenge the Status Quo – Identify inefficiencies, question assumptions, and push for better, smarter, and faster ways of leveraging data
  • Advocate for Value – Ensure our data platforms enable actionable insights, AI innovation, and seamless data access across PlayStation
  • Engage Stakeholders – Collaborate with data, engineering, and business teams to deliver impactful solutions that meet both technical and commercial needs

Our take

Since the release of the PS1 in 1994, PlayStation has been a consistent leader in the video gaming market.
